1. Added new function – Search TIN at Tax Entity
I’m sure you’ll appreciate this new addition — the Search TIN feature is directly integrated with LHDN via API. It allows suppliers to easily obtain a customer’s TIN using their Business Registration Number (for businesses) or Identity Card Number (for MyKAD holders). You can access this feature under ‘Tax Entity’ in Master Data.
Please note: Only the TIN will be provided by LHDN. Other fields such as address, state, etc., will need to be filled in manually.
2. Added new function – Upload Taxpayer's QR Code
Say goodbye to manual input — simply ask your customer to send their QR code from the MyInvois Portal. All you need to do is upload it here, and their Tax Entity information will be auto populated.
3. Enhanced to not allow duplicate Supplier Invoice Number in Purchase Invoice for the same supplier
This enhancement helps prevent duplicate entry of the same supplier invoice in Purchase Invoice. An error prompt will appear upon saving if the same supplier invoice number is entered for the same supplier.
4. Added Save Layout function in Master Data and Product Inquiry
Want to customize the columns and save the layout of Master Data as your default view? Now you can! ! The Save Layout function is available in Master Data’s Tax Entity, Customer, Supplier and Product Inquiry.
Quick tip – If you see a wheel icon and a dropdown in the interface, it means you can save and manage the layout.
5. Enhanced Product Maintenance to show Classification Code column in Master Listing and Print Listing function
At a glance on the same page, you can easily identify which products have not been assigned a classification code. If you weren’t aware, the Classification Code is mandatory for your products for e-Invoice validation.
6. Enhanced Customer and Supplier Maintenance to show Tax Entity column in Master Listing and Print Listing function
Similar as no.5! You can easily identify which customers haven't had their Tax Entity set up yet.
7. Enhanced presentation of payment details in Receipt Voucher and Payment Voucher
To enhance viewing convenience for you and your customers, we've improved the presentation to clearly show both the paid and outstanding amounts at a glance.
8. Enhanced Bank Transactions able to reconcile and match with document transaction date that is later than bank transaction date
You can now freely reconcile and match your bank transaction to an existing document, regardless of whether the document’s transaction date is earlier or later than the bank transaction date, providing flexibility in how you handle your reconciliation process.
9. Added Batch Delete at Bank Transactions
Wrongly imported bank transactions? Fear not – easily select and delete them.
10. Added Date Filter at Bank Transactions
Too many transactions and only want to view a specific date range? With the new Date Range enhancement, you can now easily filter and locate the transactions you need.
11. Added new setting to resize Letter Size to A4 size in report printing
Some report templates (eg: Receipt Voucher – Letter) are Letter size by default. If you prefer to print on A4 paper, you can easily switch the setting. Just go to Company Profile > Settings, and you'll find the option under Application Settings.
12. Enhanced Subscription to allow user to renew subscription even when the next cycle recurring bill exists
You might have encountered this error message when you tried to use the ‘Renew’ button, if an unpaid bill had already been generated for your next subscription cycle. With this enhancement, you can easily pay for the next cycle bill without hassle.
13. Support API for Tax Entity
If you're planning to integrate your system with Cloud Accounting and need to access the Tax Entity via API, this is now supported. Would highly recommend to have your developer review our API documentation here.
