Highlights
We valued your feedback and here are some of the updates from v1.1.70!
1. Support Automatic ‘Issue Date Time’ setting for Malaysia e-Invoice
But first, what is ‘Issue Date Time’? On LHDN MyInvois Portal, taxpayers are only allowed to submit e-Invoices no earlier than 3 days before the invoice’s document date. This function is designed to handle backdated invoices where the document date is more than 3 days before the current date, and the e-Invoice has not yet been submitted to LHDN.
Example:
You forgot to invoice June sales and now it's 22nd July.
So you create the invoice with a Document Date = June
Since you're submitting e-Invoice in July (more than 3 days later), you must set the Issue Date Time = 22nd July (current date).
New Automatic ‘Issue Date Time’ setting: Previously, you had to set this date manually. Now, with the Automatic ‘Issue Date Time’ setting:
If the document is older than 3 days and Issue Date Time is empty (under Invoice’s Document Info), the system automatically sets it to the current date/time during submission without manually selecting the date now.
2. Support Default Classification Code for Malaysia e-Invoice
This feature automatically applies the selected default classification code to all new line items during document entry. It is especially useful when most of your products fall under the same classification, eliminating the need to assign the classification code to each product individually in ‘Product’ maintenance.
3. Enhanced to allow editing Tax Entity field in Customer and Supplier
We understand mistakes can happen when mapping Tax Entities to customers or suppliers, we have now enhanced to allow edit so you can switch to the correct Tax Entity easily.
4. Enhanced Malaysia e-Invoice’s Annexure fields to match with LHDN latest field length size
To stay aligned with LHDN requirements, we've enhanced our Annexure fields to match their field length limits.
5. Improved user experience when using Upload QR, Search TIN, and Validate TIN, even without selecting a Tax Entity in the Company Profile.
Previously, you may have seen a prompt asking you to select a Tax Entity in your Company Profile. Now, you can use the Upload QR, Search TIN, and Validate TIN functions without needing to pre-set a Tax Entity in the Company Profile.
These enhancements were made available on 21 July 2025!
