This function allows you to maintain Tariff Code used by your company. Tariff Code is used to classify your items or services for SST purpose.
*This function is only available if the account book is running SST Tax System.
To access Tariff Code, click on the Master Data icon > Tariff Code.
Creating a new Tariff Code
To create a new Tariff Code, click on the “+New” button.
Fields
Active: Indicate if Tariff Code is still active. Unticking this will cause you unable to select this Tariff Code.
Tariff Code: Key in Tariff Code used by your company.
Description: Key in Tariff Code description.
Alternate Description: Key in Tariff Code alternate description.
Click “Save” to commit the changes once you had done keying in or editing the required information.
