Question:

I have deleted Retained Earning account (with Special Account Type), how to create a new one?

Answer:

1) At Chart of Account, click on +New > Retained Earning.

2) Key in your Account No and Account Description and click on Save.

The Retained Earning account (with Special Account Type) is created.

Remark:

The selection of new Retained Earning account will appear only when there is no Retained Earning (with Special Account Type) in existing Chart of Account. This is because only one Retained Earning account (with Special Account Type) is allowed in any Chart of Account.
