Question:

Why are documents not able to save, message prompted ‘Transaction Date 27/11/2023 is locked’?




Possible Reason:

Your transaction date is November 2023, and this period has been locked.



Solution:

1) To unlock it, go to Account Book Setting icon > Fiscal Year.




2) For Fiscal Year 2023, click on arrow drop down and select Manage Period Lock.





3) You will notice that 2023 November is checked, which mean is locked.





4) If you wish to unlock, uncheck it and click on Save.




Period Locks are updated successfully.





5) Now you should be able to create transaction for November 2023.
