Why can’t I import documents, message prompted ‘Transaction Date 25/11/2023 is locked’?

Possible Reason:

Your transaction date is November 2023, and this period has been locked.


1) To unlock it, go to Account Book Setting icon > Fiscal Year.

2) For Fiscal Year 2023, click on arrow drop down and select Manage Period Lock.

3) You will notice that 2023 November is checked, which mean is locked.

4) If you wish to unlock, uncheck it and click on Save.

Period Locks are updated successfully.

5) Now try again to import the document, you should be able to import transaction for November 2023.
