Question:
How to create bank account in Chart of Account?
Answer:
1) Click on the “+New” button > Select Bank, Cash, Deposit.
2) A dialog will prompt to key in the details. Select Bank and select the Parent Account, proceed to key in Account No and Description. You can also select the Account Type and key in the Alternative Description if needed.
3) When create a new Bank, Cash, Deposit or Other Payment account, system will also trigger to create a Payment Method, thus you do not need to create Payment Method separately. You can click “Edit” if you wish to modify the default data.
4) Click “OK” and “Save”, a new bank account will be created in the Chart of Account.
