Question:
Why do I get the error message “Inventory Loss in default product posting is empty” when trying to save a Stock Adjustment? (use Perpetual Inventory System)
Possible Reason:
This error occurs because the Inventory Loss Account in Product Posting has not been maintained.
Solution:
1) Go to Master Data > Product Posting.
2) Click Edit on the relevant Product Posting record.
3) Assign account code under Inventory Loss Account, click Save.
4) You should be able to save the Stock Adjustment now.
Notes: You would need to create the Inventory Loss Account in Chart of Account first if you have yet to create. Refer link guide below for Chart of Account.
