How to maintain Tax Entity for Foreign customer or Government?
Answer:
To maintain a Tax Entity for a Foreign Customer or Government, follow the steps below:
1) Go to Master Data > Tax Entity.

2) Click +New to create a new Tax Entity.

3) A pop-up window will appear for you to fill in the Tax Entity details.
For Foreign Customer

1) Set Classification to Business.
2) Tick Foreign Business.
3) Enter the Customer Company Name.
4) Leave TIN empty for foreign customer.
5) Enter the Business Registration Number if available.
6) Fill in the remaining Foreign Customer details (all fields are required).
7) Click Save once all details are completed.
For Government

1) Select Classification to Government.
2) Key in Government-related organization name (e.g. public university, hospitals).
3) TIN, Business Registration Number, SST Registration Number and Tourism Tax Registration Number can be left empty.
4) Fill in the remaining Government details (all fields are required).
5) Click Save once all details are completed.
