Question:

I have keyed in June’2023 Periodic Stock Value, when inquiry Profit & Loss Statement for 10/06/2023, why the closing stock account is zero?

Remark: I did not enable use live stock balance in all financial reports.

Possible Reason:

The report inquiry is made before 16^th of the month, and you did not key in the periodic stock value for the previous month (May’2023).

For financial reports, if filter date is from 1^st - 15^th, system will capture the periodic stock value amount for the previous month, when filter date is 16^th to end of month, system will capture the periodic stock value amount for the current month based on the inquiry date.

Solution:

Key in periodic stock value for May’23.

Now, the amount is shown in the Profit & Loss Statement.
