This guideline will show you how to register for Cloud Accounting trial and create a new company


1. Click the link provided by your sales representative or visit the AutoCount website 

at https://www.autocountsoft.com/, find AutoCount Cloud Accounting, and click the ‘Free Trial’ button.







2. Fill up all the information required for the registration:

    a. Enter your email address (which will serve as your login ID), preferably your work email address.


    b. Enter your personal name.


    c. Enter your mobile number.


    d. Set your preferred password, you will need to provide the password whenever you login to your AutoCount Cloud Accounting account.

          Please note the following password requirements:

          Passwords must be at least 8 characters.

          Passwords must have at least one non alphanumeric character.

          Passwords must have at least one lowercase ('a'-'z').

          Passwords must have at least one uppercase ('A'-'Z').


    e. Re-enter your password in the ‘Confirm Password’ field to confirm it.


    f.  Leave this option unchecked if you are not an accounting firm or freelance bookkeeper looking to subscribe to the Accountant Plan.


If you are an accounting firm or freelance bookkeeper interested in subscribing to the Accountant Plan, please contact your sales representative to apply. If you do not have a sales representative, email sales@autocountsoft.com for further assistance.


     g. Click the ‘Register’ button to complete the registration process.
         By clicking ‘Register’, you agree to AutoCount Cloud Accounting's terms of service and privacy policy.





3. You’re required to check your email for email confirmation before you login into account.





4. Click on the 'Confirm Email' button or the link given.





5. Key in your email and password to login.





6. Click ‘Create New Company’.





7. Click ‘Try For Free’ on the plan you wish to try out during the free trial. Please note that only accounting firms or freelance bookkeepers who have been approved for the ‘Accountant Plan’ may select this option for a trial. (Refer to step 2 (f)).





8. You may review your trial plan on this page. Click on ‘Compare Pricing Plan’ for a detailed comparison of the available options.


If you wish to try AutoCount OneSales Cloud POS and Marketplace Solution (for syncing orders from Shopee and Lazada), you can select ‘Point of Sales’ and ‘Marketplace’. Please note that once you include ‘Point of Sales’ and ‘Marketplace’ in your trial plan (Free Mode), you will not be able to remove them during the trial period.


Click ‘Next: Company Detail’ to proceed further.





9. Fill in the company details.


 

Term

Explanation

a.

Company Name

Enter your company name, suggested to enter your full company name, usually the name you register with SSM.

 e.g. Auto Count Sdn Bhd

b.

Fiscal Year Start Date

Set your fiscal year start date.
 The start date of your current fiscal year. This setting can be changed after creating the account book, but only before any transactions are recorded.

c.

Actual Data Start Date

Set your actual data start date.

 Actual Data Start Date is to define the first day where you key in your transaction into the system.

d.

Country

The country field will display the country you selected when creating the company.

e.

System Currency

The default system currency is based on the country you selected.

Example:
Malaysia: MYR
 Singapore: SGD

f.

Tax System

Select ‘No Tax’ if your company is not SST registered.
Select ‘SST’ if your company is SST registered.

 Note: The SST module is available in Basic, Plus, Pro, and Accountant plans.

g.

Inventory System

You can choose either the ‘Periodic Inventory System’ or the ‘Perpetual Inventory System’.
The default setting is ‘Periodic Inventory System’.

h.

Sample Chart of Account

Choose a sample chart of accounts that suits your company's business nature. The system will set up all the necessary accounts for recording your accounting transactions.

i.

Billing Party

The Billing Party section is where you enter your company name, address, TIN, Business Registration No., and any other relevant information that AutoCount will use to bill the subscription fee.

10. Click ‘Next: Review’.





11. Click ‘Confirm’ after review the information.





12. Company has been created successfully and you can start your free trial.
