Question:
I have created a bank account but I want to move it under Cash At Bank as a sub account, how to do that?
*We will use ABC BANK as an example.
Answer:
There are 2 ways to do it.
Notes::
Parent Account must be Normal Account and cannot contain any amount.
Solution 1:
1) Point, click and hold your cursor at the box ellipses on the left side of the account.
2) Drag and align it with CASH AT BANK account.
3) There will be a pop up asking for confirmation, proceed to click Yes to move.
4) You should be able to see a small arrow pointing down on the left of CASH AT BANK with the ABC BANK account sub under it.
Solution 2:
1) Click on ‘Edit’ on the right side of the ABC BANK.
2) In the pop-up box, click on the small arrow at ‘Parent Account’ > select CASH AT BANK, then proceed to Save.
3) You should be able to see a small arrow pointing down on the left of CASH AT BANK with the ABC BANK account sub under it.
